PHYSIOTHERAPY
What to bring?
Bring any relevant referral letters and scan/imaging reports so that your physiotherapist can have a look.
Try to wear appropriate and comfortable clothing/footwear so that the area(s) of pain/injury can be visible (if necessary). This will also help if you need to perform some exercises.
If you are a new patient, it would be greatly appreciated if you arrived 10 minutes early to your appointment to complete any necessary forms.
What to expect?
During your initial consultation (usually 40 minutes), your physiotherapist will take your history and carry out a physical examination to get a better idea of what is going on. From here, your physio will be able to create a management plan for you.
Subsequent consultations (usually 30 minutes) will continue with the management plan, which may change depending on your progress.
